As I closely watched the trending on social media yesterday during the SuperBowl, there were a ton of people waiting for the halftime show, then planned to change the channel. Either the cross section of people I was listening to loved Bruno Mars and had no desire to watch the game or it was that lame and since the commercials can be found elsewhere now, watching the Superbowl Live seems to have lost some of it's appeal. Last week I posted a guide for Superbowl, today I am posting the Post Superbowl guide!
It looks like it's going to be a balmy 30 degrees in New York for the big game and we are not going to get the storm of the century that threatened to push Superbowl Sunday to Superbowl Monday. Who's idea was it to hold it in New Jersey anyway? Wherever you plan on tuning in, here are some ways to follow it and interact online with other fans.

Cool things to do at a CT Whale game or any other sporting event...but since I like hockey and this is my blog, I'm going to talk about hockey! Just about every week I go to see my beloved local AHL team, the Hartford Whale. It's a great time and it's pretty local, easy to park etc. Even as long as I have been going, I am still finding things out about the behind the scene stuff. For example, I just found out that between the 1st and 2nd period, there is a "step and repeat" area where you can take fun pictures. That takes place behind section 110 in the atrium. Then you'll get your picture posted on the CT Whale Facebook page like these
Anyway, I'm here to tell you about some other fun things you can do at a CT Whale game or any sporting event!
A View From My Seat
I may not be the biggest sports fan and this app sounds cool even to me! Last year I was buying tickets to Louden, NH's Nascar race for myself and 5 others. The seats were in turn 4. I've always sat close to the start/finish line there in the past so I wasn't sure if these seats would allow me to see the whole front stretch. To me that's a deal breaker. If I can't see the cars pitting, coming off the 4th turn and going into the first, I'd almost rather watch it on TV.
