Texting and Driving; we've all done it, we've all seen people doing it, probably on your way to work this morning, but it has to stop. Every year there are more than 100,000 texting-related car crashes and that number is growing exponentially.
Since it just happens to be Cell Phone Courtesy Month, I thought it'd be great to talk about one thing that an awful lot of people aren't courteous about...OUR LIVES. When you drive along and you see someone texting and they are in close proximity to you in your vehicle, they are endangering your live and the lives of passengers in your car. That should make you really mad. Recently on vacation while a passenger in my sisters car, I was able to see people talking, texting and who knows what else. I wouldn't be surprised if some of them were playing Draw Something. Some people think they are so skilled that they can successfully do both. I'm sure the testers that ended up in an accident did to.
I took some pictures of people texting and driving and one was really interesting in that, her texting seemed to be directly porportionate to all the scratches and dings in her car. We drove along side for quite a while and she was texting the whole way.
