HTC Thunderbolt Finally Gets an Upgrade

Posted by Cellular Chloe on Feb 5, 2013 11:30:00 AM

Sometimes I forget that people actually keeps phones until they have an upgrade available which is about 20 months because I generally don't have a phone much more than 3. Its a blessing and a curse. By the time I get it all fine tuned just the way I like it, it's time to give it up and start all over again. So don't be hatin' on me!

iOS v. Android v. WindowsPhone

So Many Phones, So Little Time. Which OS(Operating System) is Right for You?

If you are already due for an upgrade or expect to be relatively soon, I have 2 words for you. Good Luck.
There are so many phones out there and it's never going to slow down. Well, at least not before the end of the year. Starting today we are officially in the 4th quarter of the year and that means we'll be seeing even more before the holidays.
So what it all boils down to, unless you are a slave to your OS(Some people on iPhones will never switch no matter how great Android is) is what is the best OS for you? Two months ago I'd only be talking about Android and iOS but on October 26, WindowsPhone is making a comeback with Window 8 and they have some really sweet devices coming. Soon it may become a three-way battle if Windows8 is well received. It's a nice clean OS and I for one am looking forward to getting my hands on one. I am not including Blackberry because their Marketshare is very low. Here are a few fun iOS vs. Android cartoons. I never get sick of these!
If you are trying to pick a new smartphone, your best bet is to decide which OS is best for you.

iOS Apple iPhone

Fixed ecosystem-everything is intergrated so it's very easy to use, sync, backup etc.
Very intuitive Interface makes for a short learning curve.
All devices are running the same version.
Devices running on iOS are extremely stable. No freezing or locking up.

Monday Matters! An RSS recap of Verizon Wireless News 11.14.11

Posted by Cellular Chloe on Nov 14, 2011 4:47:00 PM

Hold onto your hats! There's a windstorm of new devices coming your way and the wind has already picked up speed! On 11-11-11 the Motor Droid RAZR unveiled itself as the thinnest Android yet! 1.2 GHz dual-core processor on the 4G LTE blazing fast Verizon Network. This phone is fast, thin and sleek. You are going to love it!

Today the HTC Rezound hit the stores sporting beats audio and Beats Headphones. What a nice accompanyment to listen to music the way it was intended with another fast device. This one is sporting a 1.5 GHz dual core processor and on the 4G LTE network. If you love your music and love your mobile devices, this one is a beauty!
There are many new fine devices already out Motor Droid Bionic, iPhone 4S, LG Enlighten, Samsung Stratosphere and many coming before the end of the year. How do you sort it all out? I will do as much research as I can and make as many comparison videos as I can tolerate the hot studio lights! Here's what you should do. Ask questions. Do it here, go to CellularChloe.com or...better yet, go to one of our stores because you will find experts there that you can talk to one on one and get a feel for the devices. Honestly, when it comes to electronic devices like phones, tablets, cameras etc., personally I want to feel them and see how the work first hand. I don't like ordering that stuff on-line.
Keep checking back to our YouTube channel as I will just keep adding videos! 381 and counting!

Peace out

Before I go any further, it is always a good idea to back up your device before performing any upgrade. Look for MyBackup or My Backup Pro in the marketplace.
