I just finished updating my "products board" to include the 17 devices that are coming before the end of the year. That doesn't even include tablets or LTE aircards so buckle up, we're in for quite a ride! There is not at that much to talk about today, other than the Fascinateing news that Verizon will soon see a member of the Galazy S series in it's lineup...finally. Rumored launch will be September 9th but that remains to be seen. Samsung is sponsoring a ton of things based on the launch if this series. There is the zany web series called FCU, in fact a new episode will be posted tomorrow. More FCU info. Then of course there is the MTV Music Video Awards airing on September 12th which is now officially sponsored by "Samsung Fascinate a Galaxy S phone" and Verizon Wireless itself. That should be fun! Verizon already has a contest in the works.
Well here's what the Fascinate is all about.
All that plus a super bright screen, enhanced motion and tilt response for gaming, task manager & Program manager widget all in a skinny package!
Speaking of Bing, Oh did I forget to mention that the Samsung Fascinate is coming pre-loaded with Bing? Well it is, so now I can say it, speaking of Bing, today Bing for Mobile Android App becomes available to Verizon customers. You can download the free Bing App from your Verizon Wireless Android phones’ Marketplace.
The app homepage features the Bing image of the day, complete with clickable hotspots that you can explore and discover related trivia.
There is also voice search capability right on the homepage for quick results to weather, movie times at your local theater, flight status, traffic, or just news in general.
So, download, install and see what Bing can find for you!
That's all for today, I have to go play some games to get ready for Time Waster Tuesday! I have a few things piling up to tell you about tomorrow so make sure you check back!
Peace out
