It's really Thursday but you guys know that because I can't get one over on you. Anyway that means the Motorola Droid X releases today. Woo Hoo! By the way, when did Woo Hoo change to Woooot? There's no freaking "t" at the end of mine and I know that because the first time I saw "woooot" in print I must have verbalized it 10 times and decided it was a mispelling. Nope, Now I see it all the time. Does anybody actually say "woooot"? Get back to me on that.

Much more importantly, the Droid X's are almost all hunted down-I think there are still 5 to go. Read about past winners here. Anyway, they are almost all found in preparation for today's release .  It is amazing. In fact, that is what they should have named it!!! Check out the specs that make it so amazing. Now check out what makes it stand up against the iPhone 4.

Unfortunately, this kind of rains on everyone else's parade but there are still other phones coming out!

Samsung has 3 phones due out. The Fascinate, which is a Galaxy S Phone, Android of course. The Haven will replace the Knack and the Intensity 2.

Motorola has more phones coming, that's no secret. who doesn't! I will talk about them in a future column.

And, we are still waiting on the LG Clout, the Saygus vPhone and the ZTE F350. No word on when any of those will be released.
